The mission of Bethany Baptist Church is to be committed to Biblical truth and to be united in Christ’s love.

Our vision is to glorify God by knowing Him, living His Word, proclaiming His truth, and displaying His love in the World.

Leadership Team:

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Pastor Bob, Senior Pastor

Pastor Bob grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. He graduated from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, WI. He served as youth pastor of Calvary Baptist Church of Sun Prairie, WI before moving to Altona to help with Bethany’s youth ministry.

In November of 1999 Pastor Bob was called as Interim Pastor of Bethany Baptist Church and as Senior Pastor the following February.

His wife Tammy is a tremendous help in the ministry. She leads a ladies fellowship, co-leads a young married small group, and is involved in many aspects of the ministry at Bethany.

Pastor and Tammy have two daughters, Ashleigh and Jamie.
